Monmouth County - Neptune Township - 1202 11th Ave - Two Alarms

Around 12:20 PM Neptune got a call for a reported house fire, caller said smoke and flames were coming from the house. First arriving officer confirmed the heavy smoke & fire and quickly requested the BOX Alarm assignment. 34-74 career staffed engine was first due and stretched a 1.3/4 line into the home attacking the fire. The first due truck Tower 83-89 was going to the roof to vent and open up. Crews reported inside the fire was running the walls of the home from the basement up and fire quickly started to vent the 3rd story and roof. Crews backed off the roof and the second alarm was transmitted. More lines were stretched inside and out to put the fire under control. Second alarm companies arrived on scene and helped with overhaul and opening up some hot spots. Nobody was reported inside the house. According to News 12, three fire fighters sustained injuries and one was transported to JSUMC. The condition of the FF is stable. No other injuries were reported. Crews were on scene for around 2.5 hours.
