I’m trying something new.

I’ve competed in a couple other lifting competitions, but this is my first sanctioned meet.

Here’s what I didn’t know and am still learning:
* Knee sleeves aren’t just for people with bad knees. They can really help you get out of the hole of your squat. The first time I tried to put them on at home, I struggled real hard. Then I watched a YouTube video and do it with ease. They honestly feel illegal sometimes.
* No matter how much you lift, or how good you feel like you are at something, there’s always more to learn. I’ve widened my bench form, brought my feet a little closer, and feel so much stronger in it.
* The more you do something, the less boring it will feel. I typically change my programming up every 4-6 weeks. This is my 8th week on this plan and feel like there is constantly more to give.

There’s so much more leading up to this meet I’m about to learn and I’m so excited to be a part of my first one, but now I really need to hear from you.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVE PUMP UP SONG?

I’ll choose some of my faves for my ears before competition day to make a playlist.
