We want to talk about stories like Mel's and the culture that continues to foster weight shame. And the only way to make meaningful change is if we do it together. That’s the goal of our virtual event on May 9, Making the Shift: A New Way to Think About Weight.

What it's NOT about: How to lose weight, the WeightWatchers program, or weight-loss meds.

What it is about: We’ll start with conversations around weight shame and diet culture and hear from members, experts, and body-acceptance advocates. Doctors and scientists will help us unpack the science of weight. And we’ll all come away with new ways of thinking and strategies to build a healthier relationship with our bodies and each other.
