How to Store Garlic FOREVER | Garlic Storage Hack

This 'how to video' is for the garlic lovers just like me, who would like to use fresh garlic to boost health, enhancing the flavor and the quality of their cooking all year round (meaning, throughout the year) without any worry that the garlic bulbs or cloves would spoil. Whole garlic bulbs can be stored for up to 2 months (8 weeks) if properly stored. Once the garlic bulb is broken to remove cloves, the garlic shelf life shortens significantly. Broken cloves can be stored for up to 3 to 7 days at room temperature before they start to deteriorate.

Garlic, just like onion, leek, and shallot in the ALLIUM FAMILY, is perishable (that is, it is liable to decay or spoil or go bad quite quickly). Additionally, garlic is seasonal and can be expensive when it is not in season.
