Phil Mickelson: The EASIEST way to get out of the Bunker with a Buried lie.
In this video Phil Mickelson explains and demonstrates the easiest method to get out of the bunker when the golf ball has a buried lie or when the golf ball is plugged into the sand. For an uphill and downhill buried lie the golfer can not finish high like in a normal bunker shot (watch The Bunker part 1, link below). When the ball is buried or plugged the player must "stick the club into the ground just behind the ball. The player must also keep leading with the hands throughout the entire swing (just like in the hinge and hold chip, watch: How to chip 50 yards, Link below). The player also must address the ball as if he/she were hitting a lob shot (see how to chip part 3, click link below). The player must keep their weight forward at all times during the swing. If done right, the club and arm will be in a straight line in a low finish.
