Preparation for your labour is key when you are planning to have a VBAC. Not only psychologically but physically as well. This is because the threshold for variation of normal is reduced when you are planning a vaginal birth after c-section. Having some idea of evidence-based positions are going to be helpful for your partner to be aware of when you are labouring. When you are “in the zone” and listening to your body you will naturally gravitate to some of these positions, however if you feel like you are losing control of your labour its great to have some positions to help you get back on track.

Join our VBAC midwife on Fridays for an interactive session on what to expect during your birth. Empowering women to achieve the kind of birth they desire, focusing on keeping it real and empowering through knowledge.
