Alana Davis, head of biologics at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies grew up with the inspiration to help people. Her families dedication to service led her to working on orphan drugs — a drug product that serves a small patient pool. Many rare conditions are life threatening and most do not have treatments yet. As well as using the latest technology to help find new treatments, Alana use’s gemba, which is the Japanese term for Go See.
