The DCEU started in 2013 with Man of Steel and since then has been a roller coaster of ups, downs, and behind the scenes production issues. But after the announcement from James Gunn in 2023, the DCEU is finally coming to an end with Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom being the final movie in the universe. In this video I want to document the events of the DCEU from its inception to its fall and how fans, critics, and the studios reacted. This won't be a full retrospective where I review or rank every movie, but instead I will give an overview of events and talk about how audiences reacted and what the studio did. So sit back and relax and lets take a final look back at the DCEU.
