OVERVIEW:
State and local governments have shown strong leadership in development of local building performance standards laws and increasingly these policies are driving major reductions in emissions and energy consumption. Hosted by the White House and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO), the Building Performance Standards Webinar shares how public and private entities can partner with DOE to build energy projects.

Through LPO, states can tap into a financing resource for projects utilizing an eligible technology that will make a significant impact on building energy consumption – particularly where projects are seeking to achieve important policy frameworks, such as compliance with state or local building performance standards.

New York City Economic Development Corporation and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) joined this webinar to share more about their efforts with LPO.

This webinar was offered in conjunction with the Building Performance Standards Technical Assistance Network and the National Building Performance Coalition.
