The U.S. Department of Energy recently surpassed $1 billion in nuclear energy-related awards to universities, colleges, trade schools, and community colleges since 2009.

The awards support early-career faculty research, infrastructure, R&D, scholarships, fellowships, student competitions, facility access, and more.
