A video essay analyzing the psychology of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PS5. We will be analyzing the game from a Jungian perspective. Looking into how the characters and story of Spider-Man 2 dives deep into Jungian concepts like: the conscious and personal unconscious, the shadow, shadow work/integration, and individuation. The main characters we will be focusing on will be Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Martin Li, as all three characters learn how to deal with their own darkness. With a special focus on the psychological significance of Peter's relationship with the Symbiote.
