Thank you for watching season 1 of Beyond the Genetics

Beyond the genetic is a web series focused on looking beyond what most people already know about sickle cell disease but still educating those who have little to no idea.

It’s main focus is to follow the lives of individuals living with the disease and their families to shared more light on the everyday life of a cell warrior.

This series aims to achieve a balance between knowing what sickle cell is, spreading awareness, knowing the importance of genetic counseling and most importantly, knowing that despite the pain and struggles (physically, mentally and financially), cell warriors are able to live a good life.

Follow us as we look beyond the genetics through a warrior’s eyes.
