Author and military historian Andrew Robertshaw produced this video to explain the difficulties of cooking in the trenches in World War One. The video was sponsored by, and filmed at, Rendcomb College, Gloucestershire.
RWBDay is an annual national schools campaign that highlights the work of the Armed Forces and raises money for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. As part of this year’s campaign – scheduled for Friday 10th October (although schools can choose any date in October or November) - we have produced the following film.
