Rheo-microscopy combines rheological measurements with simultaneous investigation of the material’s microstructure, and how it may evolve in response to external stresses or strain fields. This webinar will showcase the power of rheo-microscopy for an accurate interpretation of rheological data in the context of three case studies, each on a different material and using a different rheometry technique. See how rheo-microscopy can help you better understand your rheology data with direct knowledge of the material’s microstructure and microdynamics during testing.

Ali Mohraz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests are in the areas of soft matter fundamentals, colloid science, and complex fluids engineering with applications in energy systems and regenerative biomaterials. Professor Mohraz has received the Distinguished Young Rheologist Award, the National Science Foundation Early Career (CAREER) Award, and a number of teaching awards at the school of engineering and campus levels at UC Irvine.
