Solar O&M Managers! Check out what we found when doing this inspection. We can clearly see an activated bypass diode in this video due to the thermal camera from the drone, but when we went to inspect the hot spot area we were surprised to find a junction box installed incorrectly! This caused a pretty significant hot spot on the module, but it shows another great reason why drones are so helpful in identifying these issues so they can be corrected.
