Rick Sanchez is dueling Yami Yugi / the pharaoh in a battle for the millennium puzzle. Rick needs the puzzle to locate Rick Prime but he must first win it from the Yami in order to claim it's power.
Rick Sanchez has summoned the winged dragon of ra and yugi summons his Egyptian god card - Slifer the sky dragon.

STORY PARODY PREMISE

Rick Sanchez has travelled from the rick and morty universe into the yugioh universe in search of the millennium puzzle. By harnessing the astral powers inside the puzzle, he can be able to locate the true location of the original soul of rick prime (seeing as rick prime has cloned himself many times. The millennium puzzle is currently held my yami yugi. It is linked to him. In order for rick to truly claim the puzzle, he must defeat the pharaoh in a shadow game/duel.

The timeline in the yugioh universe is set during battle city. Rick has already defeated yami marik and claimed the egyptian god card (the winged dragon of ra) and the millennium rod. Kaiba holds obelisk and yugi holds slifer.

Before coming into the yugioh universe, rick had also acquired various sharingan from the naruto universe of his previous ventures. As well as the millennium puzzle, he also seeks the infinity stones and the dragon balls.

With the dragon balls, rick sanchez hopes to use a wish that they grant, in order to revive his wife and daughter. But in order to acquire them, he must get through the saiyans, goku and vegeta.
