Blood flow restriction training (or BFR Training for short) uses an inflatable cuff or an elastic band to restrict blood flow while you train.

Restricting blood flow while exercising induces muscle toxicity at lower than normal intensities and our bodies respond with aerobic adaptations.

How much improvement to aerobic performance are we talking about with BFR training?

Various studies noted improvements in VO2max, aerobic power, and other mechanisms that drive aerobic performance, but the research has yet to conclusively tie BFR training to becoming a faster cyclist.
