There are lakes in space! Lakes may seem like a very Earthly phenomenon, but there are actually loads of lakes scattered throughout the solar system, and likely beyond. Now, Earth is the only place we know currently has lakes of liquid water on its surface, but there are numerous lakes of more exotic liquids, underground lakes, frozen lakes, and dried up lake beds on many other worlds that make for some pretty great lakes for us to dive into - though maybe not literally. We'll also see how scientists are planning to look for lakes and oceans in solar systems beyond our own. Let's Explore!
