Stanford took on Iowa in the 2016 Rose Bowl. From the very first play Christian McCaffrey dominated the Iowa defense. With two early touchdowns and an additional pick six by the defense this game was never close. McCaffrey ended the game with 368 all purpose yards, which is the Rose Bowl record. He had over 100 yards rushing and receiving. Averaging 9.6 yards a carry Stanford's offense was bale to defeat Iowa 45-16.
