Here's another vacuum I've been wanting to show you guys for a while. I got this off from eBay 3 years ago already with the thanks of the last stimulus check we got. This was one of the new old stock Windtunnel Twin Chamber bagless that used to be sold on eBay and I was really excited to get this vacuum because I think that Windtunnel are one of the best vacuums Hoover made and I really like the style of the Twin Chamber as well, also the fact that this was new old stock. I heard that this model was a Sears exclusive and somehow ended up as leftovers that had been kept in storage for a long time. So a couple days later I got this from the mail and assembled all the parts until I realized I had about 4 flaws. 1st the HEPA filter inside the dust cup was disintegrated so I had to go get a new one from a nearby vacuum shop and later replaced it with an Arm & Hammer washable filter. 2nd the hose valve that opens for regular vacuuming and closes for above floor cleaning was broken which explains why there was absolutely no suction on the hose and due to being inside the box in storage for 17 years so I ordered a new valve on Amazon and installed it and got suction from the hose again. 3rd the original brushroll was vibrating the cleaning head so I ordered a CWP brushroll and works perfectly and I also had to replace the belt too since it's new old stock. Finally I ordered a new hose yesterday and arrived today surprisingly because the original clear hose had a bit of a sticky greasy residue due to age and dirt would get stuck so I had to get a new hose for this vacuum. I later installed a LED bulb and when I first had this vacuum I replaced the micro filter with an actual HEPA filter for self propelled Windtunnels thanks to Grayson's tip. The hose suction is not that bad but the hose suction on the bagged Windtunnels are much better. The filter will need to be kept clean for better performance. I even got a 20 ft extra long stretch hose for this one too. It's a good vacuum and all I say is they're a lot better than today's Hoovers. Enjoy.
