This is my 3rd Elite style upright that I got from eBay about 2 years ago. Also my first Legacy upright. I really love this model because of the fact that it has an outer cloth bag along with a permanent hose. The nice thing is that it came with all of the original attachments. I took everything apart and cleaned it up to make it look almost like new and later added a 20 bladed fan and CWP brushroll. I also added a HEPA bag. Later I added a LED light bulb. I was using this vacuum one day and all of a sudden the motor was acting a little weird where it would kinda slow down just a bit so I haven't used it for a while. So one day I took a look see and noticed that the motor housing end where the armature bearing is located was starting to crack due to age. So I took another spare housing and installed it and test out the vacuum and works perfectly normal! There's another Hoover Legacy model that is very similar to this one that I want to get my hands on and that would be the Legacy II in a beautiful navy blue with the outer cloth bag along with the neat deluxe tool set and on/off switch handle.
