Typing test of a Topre Realforce R2 that has 55g factory-silenced switches. This keyboard comes with the purple Topre sliders (a mark of it being from a silenced Realforce board). The slider is a little longer to preserve a 4mm key travel even with the silencing ring on the slider.

Exact model of the keyboard is R2TLS-US5-IV.

I didn't know this was a discontinued model until I looked it up making this video. This was purchased in Japan near the end of 2019 before the pandemic. Since then it has become my daily driver which I use for work.

The first time I heard the word "thock" describe a keyboard was for a Topre board many, many years ago. This was when MX-style switches and boards were far from being described as "thocky". Topre is still the thockiest switch to me, and Topre keyboards are still the thockiest keyboards.

Everything in this typing test is stock - I don't think it needs any modifications to be honest.
