ALL FA CUP WINNERS 1872 to 2023

Organized by The Football Association, the FA Cup is reputed to be the oldest competition in the history of football. The tournament emerged in 1871, when the then FA secretary, CW Alcock, proposed the creation of a tournament with all Football Association clubs. It is also the most democratic of the competitions in this country, as clubs from the 10 divisions of English Football can participate.
