Deborah Santana, author, philanthropist and activist for peace and social justice, and founder of Do A Little, a non-profit that serves women and girls in the areas of health, education and happiness, reads two poems for the audience at Serendipity #13.

The first, "Hieroglyphic Stairway," is written by Drew Dellinger, Ph.D., an internationally sought-after speaker, poet, writer, and teacher who has inspired minds and hearts around the world, performing poetry and keynoting on justice, ecology, cosmology, and compassion. He is also a consultant, publisher, and founder of Planetize the Movement. The poem is from his book, "love letter to the milky way."

Deborah also reads one of her own poems, "Praise Song," which will be included in her forthcoming memoir, a follow up to her 2005 memoir, "Space Between the Stars: My Journey to an Open Heart."
