I found a water puddle in my front yard. It had not rained in about two weeks so I knew I had a water leak. I had called a plumber, he said he would dig it up and fix it for $300 dollars. The only problem was, his knee was hurt, so he could not dig it up. He said If I dig it up, he would fix it for $150 dollars. I dug up the pipe, but when I called the plumber, he did not answer. I went to the local hardware store and got two shark bite couplings and a 4 foot section of pipe to fix it myself. I saved around $275 dollars by not having the plumber fix it. I got an early start, when the temperature was about 75 but by the time I finished it had climbed to 86. All in all not a bad day.
