A first-generation American, Darlingtina Tucker has always felt a calling to assist disadvantaged persons in Sierra Leone, from where her parents and two older siblings escaped a civil war.

New Breed is an organization seeking to establish a hierarchy of accountability and empower Sierra Leonean youths to become active change agents by holding events that foster personal growth, community service and civic engagement.

Winner of our 2023 #OZYGenius Awards in partnership with AT&T’s Dream in Black initiative, Darlingtina joins 4 geniuses from #HBCUs, along with 7 other geniuses, all working to change the world.
