Just a few quick things I recommend if your pulling out your motor or perhaps putting in another one. There are lots of things I have not covered but perhaps these might be things that most people do not mention or are unaware of.

I believe the PCV valve is different on 2009/2010 models+ but the principal is the same.

Air Pump Delete
PCV Delete
TGV Deletes
Throttle body coolant block off/bypass
Turbo inlet hose
Valve Grinding compound for ease of removing cam bolts

Update: Additional notes;
You don't need the company 23 tools - I have used old timing belts before and they work just as well, if not better!
The little caps I used to block off the coolant lines going to the throttle body leaked approx a year later - Instead of reinstalling the caps I ended up looping a hose between both the nipples. Have noticed a drop in coolant temperature since doing this, I would recommend using the hose method instead of the caps (will update once our summer hits, as its not a great test considering we are in winter now)
