In this video, the Bearded Butchers do R&D on a new wild game sausage recipe: Maple Bourbon Deer Bratwurst!

They start by thawing out some deer meat from the freezer, then add their custom blend of spices which includes their maple seasoning and their NEW bourbon powder for a touch of sweetness and complexity. The spices are added before grinding the deer meat, along with Bourbon Mash Fed Full-Blooded Tajima Wagyu Beef Fat. Dried Peaches and Dried Apples are added to a portion of each to find out what fruit is best!

The butchers then stuff the sausage into casings and cook it up on the grill. The finished product is a delicious and flavorful bratwurst that's perfect for grilling or smoking.
