Adding options to the specification of a car like the Ferrari 296 GTS can quickly become a scary game! Let's run through the full order list and exact prices of every option on the Shmeemobile, and prepare for some surprises along the way. I'm obsessed with the result of this spec!

It's an absolute privilege to be in the position to order a brand new Ferrari, something I could only have dreamed about a decade ago, and there's certainly an element therefore of always enjoying making something that's unique with a totally bespoke spec. The 296 GTS is only my second new Ferrari after the SF90 Stradale, and I wanted to make this something completely different; beyond being a convertible, having a V6, and being my first 'red' car from Maranello.

With a design that's very much a throwback to the 1960s Dino, I opted for Rosso Dino; a red that's very much at the orange end of the palette, and even the matching nod on the plate. The interior is a very custom mix of Grigio Scuro and Charcoal leathers and Alcantara on the upgrade Style seat.

The exterior is completed with Satin Grigio Corsa wheels and Giallo calipers to link with the Scuderia Shields; and wears the Matte Black exhaust at the rear with the satin badges, along with the full set of visual carbon fibre all around. On the interior the must have options like the Carbon Fibre LED driver zone are in position, and of course usability comes from the likes of the Suspension Lifter and Surround Cameras.

We'll break this list down into the exterior options prices, the cost for all the interior upgrades, and finally the technology spec that features on the Shmeemobile. You might be surprised by some of the figures, in both a good and bad way, but let's get to the final total for my Ferrari 296 GTS and see what it comes out to.
