It's finally time to collect my brand new Ferrari 296 GTS! It's been a long time coming, but join me at HR Owen Ferrari to pull the covers off my first convertible supercar from Maranello, and head straight around to @TopazDetailing to get it ready for the road. The spec is perfect, let's go!

I ordered the 296 GTS a couple of years ago, a car that in some ways is similar to my SF90 Stradale but yet is also really quite different. As my first open top Ferrari it also features the new hybrid V6 powertrain, and I've gone for a spec that is totally different to anything I've had before. Today we're setting off from @TheShmuseum in the SF90 for the run out to Ferrari London's sister dealership in Hatfield to take delivery.

The new car is finished in Rosso Dino; a throwback colour to the original choice for the launch of the 1960s Dino, and that's over satin Grigio Corsa wheels to link through to the dual tone grey interior. The outside is complemented with Giallo calipers and the Scuderia Shields, with the interior featuring a contrast stitch and embroidery in Arancio to match the exterior colour. With all the carbon fibre options, and the satin black exhaust, it looks the part as we pull the covers back in the handover bay at the new showroom.

The first drive however is literally only a 30 second run to the new facility of @TopazDetailing where we meet up again with Nabil to find out all the latest updates. Now with multiple sites in the UK and afield including the Middle-East and Asia, the newest location supports the business infrastructure of all the dealerships that have opened in the Hatfield area. Ultimately, that means for a customer it's incredibly easy to have the car fully protected from new, and be ready to drive out instantly!
