Pulled out the 1936 Ford rear trailing arms/radius rods (seems everyone calls them something different) ... We ended up cutting the rear shock and spring mounts off to clean it up. Then two pie cuts on each arm, a little bending and BAM... Custom modified arms. We cut into the frame for the front mounts with some 1" x1/4" wall tube. Have to say it turned out pretty great and the fact we got to keep the original 1936 ford arms, worked out great. The rear axle is now securely in place... Not to mention how it complements the Ford Flathead V8.
