There is no safety without shelter. As a domestic violence/sexual assault program, providing shelter to those displaced by violence is foundational to our mission. Unfortunately, the loss of our existing Beatrice shelter space, along with critical shortages in hotel availability due to an influx in visitors, limits our capacity to provide emergency shelter in our southernmost counties. The Building Hope Capital Campaign for Safe Shelter ensures that this life-saving service remains available for victims in counties with limited or inconsistent hotel vacancies.
