There are many plants (weeds) that are growing in your yard and in the wild that you can eat.
As long as you are careful and do not harvest in areas sprayed with pesticides, you can glean yummy and nutritious foods pretty well for free.

All of the greens you see here are high in antioxidants and chock full of vitamins. In a S.H.F. / survival scenario, these could be very helpful. You won't get fat eating these but it may give you that needed vitamin boost.
