Rebecca A. Fannin grew up in Lancaster, Ohio and continued to live there until graduating from Ohio University. She then went on to new horizons in New York City and Silicon Valley. She became a contributor for CNBC, wrote for Forbes, and Harvard Business Review. Her research in rising global tech lead to her first three books: Silicon Dragon, Startup Asia, and Tech Titans of China. The books launched her as an speaker, commentator, and a quoted expert in the New York Times.

Bri Kimmel is an angel investor and venture capitalist. She is also from Ohio and moved to Australia after graduating college where she found her love for tech and start up culture. After working for a startup for a few years, she went on and founded Worklife Ventures where she began making small investments out of her own savings. Worklife went on to back 9 unicorns and was funded by legendary VC's Mark Andreessen and Eric Yuan (CEO of Zoom).
