Dr. Taimur Chaudhry was on shift he saw a patient at 38 weeks come in with a headache and cramping. He evaluated her and realized that her blood pressure was elevated. She was diagnosed with preeclampsia. The patient wanted to try a VBAC as she had a C-section in the past. She was able to deliver the baby vaginally. After the delivery, the patient had a fair amount of bleeding. The placenta hadn't been delivered and the patient was uncomfortable upon examination so they decided to go to the operating room. Watch the video to hear the rest of the story.

Emergencies can happen at any hour. Our programs provide around-the-clock care from hospital-based OB/GYN physicians. These highly skilled clinicians do not replace the care patients receive from their regular OB/GYN physicians, instead, they serve as an extension of the patient’s regular doctor.
