Exactly what are macronutrients and why is it worth knowing what your macros are? When beginning a weight loss journey, understanding how we are fueling are body with macronutrients can make or break our results. By having macros explained, we can make better choices in the kitchen so we can understand and maximize results. I'm not saying you need to go out and count macros down the gram (although it is good to help get an idea on moderation/portion size), but at least having a basic understanding of what are macronutrients can benefit us in making lifestyle changes instead of jumping on fad macro eliminating diets *cough cough KETO*
