This video is about the meaning of Ruqyah. Ruqyah is a vast subject with alot of sub-topic that covers many areas like sihr, evil eyes, black magic and more, all of this will be discuss in details.
Anyway let me start by sayying Ruqyah simple means to seek divine treatment, cure or remedy for any challenges, difficulties, illness, problems that will maybe facing on a day to day basis.

The only thing is that this form of treatment is seek through or by reading some verses or Ayah of the Quran or even reading the complete Quran with the intention of doing or performing Ruqyah on oneself, family , or friends.

The verses or ayah used can been from what our Beloved Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) has recommended or that as been practice or carried out by Him (ﷺ) as a means of self-treatment or the one that He(ﷺ) as precribe to His (ﷺ) Sahabaah (may Allaah Subhannahu Wata Ala be pleased with them all. Aameen).

I want you to know that seeking treatment through the used of the Quran is a means of us demostrating our complete belief and sincerity in the Quran to be a complete source of healing.

It was mention in Quran 17:82 (Surah Al-Isra)
‏وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌۭ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًۭا ‎
Wanunazzilu mina l-qur'āni mā huwa shifāon waraḥmatun lil'mu'minīna walā yazīdu l-ẓālimīna illā khasāra
We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss.

And We send down of the Qur’ān that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.

After listening to all these you may have so many questions on your mind about Ruqyah, Question like is there any proof for Ruqyah in Islam or how can we perform Ruqyah or what is the Requirement.
Answer to some of these question and more will follow Inshaa Allaahu, but before that I want you to know that am not a scholar neither am I a Sheik am just a lay person who is willing to share my experience on Ruqyah.

Answer to one of the Question: The only requirement for Ruqyah is for us to put our trust, reliance and dependance only in Allaah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎) because HE is Al-Shafi, HE (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎) is the ONLY ONE that can prove the source for healing and cure.

I conclude this write up by praying to Allaah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎) who is As-Shafi to heal or illness, have merch on us, strengthen everyone who is physically, spiritually and psychologically weak, restored every exhausted body, mind and soul, refreshed every tired body, heart, mind and soul, O Allaah You are the all hearing of all dua and prayer, please accept this dua (Aameen).
