Casey Thornton, a PhD candidate in the lab of Dr. Andrew Adey at Oregon Health and Science University, describes how The BRAIN Initiative® has supported the development and dissemination of their team’s sciMAP-ATAC, or single-cell combinatorial indexing on Microbiopsies Assigned to Positions for the Assay for Transposase Accessible Chromatin. This method allows for highly scalable, spatially resolved, single-cell profiling of chromatin states. To learn more, go to www.braininitiative.org/toolmakers/resources/scimap-atac/.
