Surah/Quran Qaf (ق) - Magnificent Recitation that soothes the Heart and Protects from Evil

Surah Qaf is the name traditionally given to the 50th surah of the Quran. The 45 verses of the sura were revealed during the Meccan period of Muhammad's prophetic mission (peace and blessings of God be upon him). This title refers to a letter of the Arabic alphabet, Qaf, which is found in particular in the first verse.

The 50th surah of the Koran, evokes life after death and describes the day of Judgment. In fact, the general theme of the sura refers to a description of the hereafter.

According to several authentic hadiths, this surah had great importance in the eyes of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him). He recited it indeed, very often in the Fajr prayer, but also, in every Friday sermon. He therefore aimed to reach as many people as possible with the content of Surah Qaf.

By studying the sura more closely, we understand why it had great importance in the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of God be upon him).
Brief but concise, Surah Qaf presents several arguments and proofs that validate the existence of the hereafter.
Allah informs men that they are accompanied by two angels who record all their actions.

On the Day of Resurrection, all beings will emerge from their graves like young shoots and will see with their own eyes the reality of that day. On the Day of Judgment, everyone will be responsible for their own actions, and will have the discernment they deserve.
Those who fear God and have chosen the path of righteousness will be rewarded with eternal Paradise.
