Welcome to our first-time reaction to the Blue Beetle movie. Let the symbiosis begin as we dive into the superhero genre. This film introduces us to Jaime Reyes. This was a fun origin story for the superhero known as Blue Beetle. It had some great comedy (especially once we got past act 1), some really fun action sequences, excitement, and the exploration of what would happen if a mystical blue scarab were to fuse with someone giving them a super suit and full access to create anything they can imagine.

Watch as we witness one of the oldest comic book characters first movie appearance! Played by non other than Xolo Maridueña which most of you know from Cobra Kai who've we've been hearing such great things about.

His performance was fantastic but what really sold this movie to us was how well they recreated the family dynamic. Once they got that going this movie was such a fun ride.

The director Angel Manuel Soto did such a phenomenal job at creating scenes that were both relatable to the latino audience but also inherently funny. Like that Vicks Vaporub moment (If you know you know)
