In this video, we show you how to install a rear diff lock actuator / solenoid guard on an Isuzu D-Max (MY21+) or Isuzu MU-X (MY21+) or Mazda BT-50 (MY21+) vehicle.

Why do you need an actuator guard for the rear differential lock? The rear differential lock is activated by an electric actuator / solenoid. The actuator is located in a position where it is vulnerable to damage (e.g. stones and rocks etc.). The guard helps to protect this actuator reducing the likeliness of it failing, especially when off-road. A damaged diff lock actuator can both prevent the rear differential lock from engaging or if engaged, prevent it from disengaging, potentially causing driveline damage.

This product is from Ironclad Engineering, featuring 2mm Stainless Steel (304) and also manufactured in Australia.
