This has got to be one of the best Thermomix recipes... inspired by the famous Heinz variety... TM5.

I used fresh tomatoes and a few other basic ingredients (listed below) to create approx 800mls of delicious tomato ketchup.

Inspired by KrissyB recipe from the recipe community (although I reduced the sugar and increased the garlic) - you will never need to buy store bought ketchup again.

INGREDIENTS:
1kg tomatoes - super ripe is best
1-4 pieces of garlic
2 small red capsicum
100g apple cider vinegar
75g brown sugar
15g rock salt
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp mustard seeds
100g water

METHOD:
1: add tomatoes (decored), garlic, red capsicum, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic powder, mustard seeds and water
2: blitx 10 seconds speed 6
3: place basket on top instead of lid
4: cook - 40 minutes, 120 degrees, speed 2
5: blend - 10 seconds, speed 6 (but blend longer if you want it super smooth)
6:decant into jars
