This event is so timely and important as it gives us an opportunity to show those in power how much we care about changing the system for the better. Especially after Bowen Turner was arrested this weekend… which we will talk about in a minute.

The Victims Matter Rally is an opportunity to raise our voices loud enough so lawmakers can hear – especially about 2 cases in particular that we have been covering for years – Stephen Smith’s case and the Bowen Turner case.

We need to show our lawmakers that we’re not going to be quiet about either case. And we simply will not accept them saying that nothing can be done.

We need to show them that people from all over the world want Stephen’s case solved. That Stephen’s case should show the world that things are different now in South Carolina and no matter how much time has passed, people like Sandy Smith can still get justice.
