Fujian Mount Wuyi National Forest Park is located in Wuyishan City, Nanping City, Fujian Province. The geographical coordinates are 117°51′14″-118°02′18″ east longitude and 27°43′18″-27°51′35″ north latitude. The park area is 3085 hectares.
Fujian Mount Wuyi National Forest Park is located in the northern section of the Wuyi Mountains. The landform is mainly mid-low mountains, with an altitude of 1,630 meters (Jiuchongtian). The soil mainly includes mountain meadow soil belt, yellow soil belt and other types. The vegetation is composed of medium-tropical virgin forest and Mainly secondary forest, it belongs to the humid subtropical monsoon climate zone, with 1,378 species of vascular plants in 687 genera and 196 families, and 178 species of terrestrial vertebrates in 4 classes, 20 orders, 64 families.
In December 2004, Fujian Mount Wuyi Forest Park was approved by the State Forestry Administration as a national forest park.
