The clinical course of MSA (multiple system atrophy) includes many challenges. Some of those challenges include changes in speech, voice, swallowing and breathing abilities. These issues interfere with independent communication and overall medical well-being. With this webinar, tips are provided on how to proceed with these challenges, in an effort to promote informed decision making and self-advocacy.

This webinar was presented by Laura Purcell Verdun, M.A., CCC/SLP owner of Voicetrainer, LLC in Washington, DC. She is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 30 years of experience in academic medicine, basic research and private practice. All those years have included clinical work with, and advocacy for, persons with atypical Parkinsonism, including MSA.
