A few years ago I worked with Sophia when she was came with a group of parents to our studio in Toronto (   • DEEP BLUE SEA:  holistic  rehabilitat...  ), I had lost touch with her parents but in my recent travels to the UK, her parents contacted me and I extended my trip to work with Sophia for a short week. I'm happy I did! I discovered that Sophia had been diagnosed with a rare neurodevelopment disorder called GNA01, which causes her body to spasm with involuntary movements (“storms”), She had regressed quite a bit but with a lot of hard work, we were able to get her back on track ❤️
