Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite was born in the Brazilian city of Gama on April 22, 1982 but grew up in São Paulo from the age of 7. "Kaká" began playing soccer in the city of São Paulo and when he was only 8 he enrolled in the academy of the most famous team in the city.

At São Paulo he became one of the most promising youngsters in Brazilian football and at the age of 18 he made his debut in the Brazilian league. Shortly after he participated in the World Cups in Japan and Korea where he was proclaimed World Champion with the Brazilian team and, at just 20 years old, he signed for AC Milan to become a Rossoneri star.

With the Italian team he won 6 titles and became a Legend, being the last great figure of Milan in its last Champions League (2007). That year Kaká won the Ballon d'Or and was designated as the best footballer in the highest continental competition.

In 2009, Real Madrid took over his services in exchange for 65 million euros, but injuries and the lack of opportunities offered by Mourinho prevented him from succeeding at the White House.

The Brazilian returned to San Siro for a year, where he said goodbye, reaching 100 goals with the red and black shirt and saying goodbye to European football. After a brief return to São Paulo, Kaká retired in the United States playing 3 years at Orlando City. The Brazilian said goodbye to the fields in 2017 to become a true soccer legend.
