INGREDIENTS:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp salt
3/4 cup butter
1 ½ cups packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp pineapple juice
2 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Brown the butter by adding it to a pan over medium heat and stirring continuously. Solids will form and it will turn golden brown when it’s done.
4. Mix the butter and sugars together until combined.
5. Add the eggs, one at a time, then the vanilla and pineapple juice.
6. Add the flour mixture all at once and blend until a dough forms. Fold in the chocolate.
7. Chill the dough for at least an hour.
8. Preheat oven to 325.
9. Roll 2 1/2 tablespoon lumps of dough into balls, then place on the baking sheet spaced about 3 inches apart. Chill the dough between batches.
10. Bake about 15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
