This program features an interview with Sacheen Littlefeather, Native American activist and participant in the occupation of Alacatraz Island.

"I Believe" was a Bay Area produced and televised program from 1974-1979 featuring interviews with prominent guests from the worlds of religion, education, politics, sports, and entertainment, exploring their deepest faith, hopes, and convictions. Interviews were conducted by Father Miles Riley, founding director of the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s Communication Center. The program was originally broadcast as a KPIX Public Affairs Presentation before becoming a locally syndicated program.
