Do NOT let your MIND DRIFT as New Player in Destiny 2 because contrary to the expectations set from my previous sessions, this game does NOT mess around as I soon find out.

I returned the following day after acquiring the DLCs through the story so far humble bundle deal for $40. At that price, it seemed pretty worth it to me.

I logged into my warlock and funnily enough, the first banner that greets me is the one where it asks me to pre-order the Final Shape DLC. I don’t know if I’m going to preorder it, but I probably will buy it to be honest. The design of the pre-order gun looks incredible, but I don’t know how to feel about locking guns behind preorders, the text does specifically say, pre-order to instantly unlock. So as long as you don’t have to do some stupid and inane time-wasting bs to acquire the weapon, then it's probably fine.

I take a look at the new light quest and can indeed now participate in a Nightfall. Thanks to some comments from my previous video, apparently not all nightfalls are locked from new players. They rotate, and because of this, depending on when you try to access them, the 3rd step of the New Light quest can indeed be done as a free to player. I still think it would make more sense to force the player into a more curated nightfall experience for their first time, but it is good to know that this is possible free to play.
